I really like this jacket, but it does turn everything pink. I had a white phone case, and it has since turned an ugly pink, from keeping it in the jacket pocket. I have a cloth purse with a white and black pattern… after only wearing the jacket for a few days, the white part of my purse has also turned pink. I have not gotten this jacket wet, nor have i wore it in the rain.
For the cost of the jacket, you would think they would have used quality buttons metal buttons. The gold buttons are really thin and feel like a cheap plastic, i'm constantly scared they are going to get caught on something and break.
Overall its a warm jacket and a great color, i receive many compliments while wearing it, but i would not buy another one.

Since the other reviews said that the coat runs big, I ordered a large and a X Large. The X Large arrived first ... and it is perfect! I am making sure that I mention, ( some of the reviews did not), that my measurements are 6'2" 235lbs and to state again, the X Large fit perfect,(this is my usual size) . The weight and feel are great, just heavy enough. Nice, dark, rich color, ( I ordered a black) nothing fancy, looks like the pea coat I remember my father wearing from the Navy, (minus the authentic Navy anchor buttons.. I could always buy some!)just what I was looking for. The people in my family love it. Complements all around. I highly recommend it!

P.S. Before purchasing this coat, I went to Macy's, (a great store) and tried on the Kenneth Cole, the Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger and American Rag pea coats, and NONE of them matched the quality or price of this coat.

I got this coat during the cyber monday deal for 89 dollars. The coat itself is great, fits well, looks good and is cozy.

However I should have researched similar products, namely this similar coat:
The difference being that the one above is a traditional pea coat in that it is double breasted and that the knitted collar is removable. My coat has the knitted collar stitched on and is single breasted. Another minor difference is that the collar on mine is only striped on the collar while the double breasted one has stripes all of the way down. However it looks like mine has a slightly thicker collar.

My guess is that this coat is an older/alternative version of the standard pea coat. Its still a great coat and the material looks to be the same. I'm happy with my purchase but I think next time I decide to buy a coat, I'm going to google around a bit longer first.

One last thing to note is that, this coat and the coat I compared it to, are both from the Kenneth Cole NEW YORK line. There is a Kenneth Cole REACTION line which is their lower cost line. There is a similar coat from their REACTION line with an attached collar/bib that is cheaper but presumably with cheaper material.

 Just another option to think about.

Nice looking and stylish Peacoat. My one complaint is the arms are on the tighter side and the shoulder width is fairly narrow. Don't go by the generic size dimensions they supply you. I normally wear a large and wish I would have purchased an extra large. If you are more on the muscular side take this into consideration.

Was worried about the size of the jacket more than anything. After scouring through hundreds of reviews people mostly stated that the jacket wears a little larger than normal. I am typically a 42 regular and my chest is around 41". The medium jacket is just about a perfect fit for me right now. I recently lost about 25lbs and am hovering around 195-200lbs. The arm length is just right for me and I usually wear shirts at 33" length. I know the large would have been a little too big given this one fits well. I would say go by your chest measurement and you should be fine. If your chest measures 39-41' go with the medium. Hope this helps someone. Sparq
